The Cavanal Killer is a 5 Mile Walk/Run to the top of the World's Highest Hill, Cavanal Hill.  Held in May each year, generally on the 2nd Saturday.  The 5 mile climb to the top of Cavanal Hill is an intense climb. Participants will gaining 1500' altitude with an average gradient of 8%, some sections tilting upward at 14%. This walk/run is not to be taken lightly, but is also very rewarding.

The goal of the Cavanal Killer 8k Walk/Run is to promote fitness and Cavanal Hill.

Event Tips:  Wear comfortable walking shoes  & clothing; Water will be provided at stations on the way, but participants are encouraged to bring their own.  A light lunch will be provided at the top.  Transportation will be provided back down the hill.  Runners are asked to start at beginning of line, walkers behind runners, anyone pushing a stroller or slower walkers please line up toward the back.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION: This year we are allowing vehicles to park at the top for easy transportation down the hill.  For the safety of all involved, we ask that you be aware of traffic and individuals.
